“The twelve labours of Hercules” cycle / Twelve allegories for the planet

With its new cycle of creations, beginning in 2023, Musicatreize aims to demonstrate the relevance of this myth at the beginning of the 21st century. Ancient myths still have some truth and relevance. Thus the biblical account of the flood may have originated in the warming of the climate at the beginning of the Holocene (between 10,000 and 8,000 BC), which followed the Würm Glaciation. The rapid rise in water levels is said to have caused the collapse of the Bosphorus, with the Mediterranean Sea flowing into the Pontic Lake, thus creating the Black Sea… The labours of Hercules thus find a resonance in our world today.
